Today is day one of my cycle!!!

I called the fertility clinic to let them know. I got a call back and they said because my donor sperm has not been delivered yet so they cannot put me in for the IUI procedure. I let them know that it was going to be delivered on the 28th. Now I need to call back a few days after the 28th to see if it was received and if I can still get in for the procedure in April. Fingers crossed!

Donor sperm was delivered, fees are paid and I am good to go for my IUI procedure NEXT WEEK!

Today is day 8 of my cycle. I've started checking my temperature and taking ovulation tests this morning. When I'm about to ovulate my body will go down a bit. The nurse I spoke to today told me to start taking the digital ‘smiley face’ tests on Saturday morning because they leave no question as to if you are ovulating or not! I am so excited! The countdown is on!

Day 10! Temperature is trending down. First day of the digital tests. Ovulation test negative!

Day 12! I’m ovulating! The smiley face appeared when I woke up for a pee at 5AM. I had to force myself to go back to sleep for a couple hours! Officially going in for the IUI procedure TOMORROW! I go in at 12:30 to confirm that they have the right donor sperm then the procedure is at 1. So excited!

IUI procedure day! I’m going to make a baby! For sure, 100%, it’s happening!

The procedure went really well. One vial of sperm with over 9.2million inside! I was also told they had an average 28% mobility which they said was average. I had a little bit of cramping for about five minutes after the procedure but other than that there was no pain.

After the procedure I went to lunch with my sister, Jenni and my mum. Then I went home rest!
