Gender reveal!?

Gender reveal day! A few weeks ago I got a finger prick test through a company called Baby Reveal. I pricked my finger and sent the blood sample in the mail to get the results. They sent those results over to my best friend, Jessica. She’s the gender reveal specailist! All I asked was for her to include Rebel somehow and she came through! I drove down to MA with mum and dad for a visit with friends and family a few days ago. It’s been great to see everyone. Jess set up the reveal today at Dane Street Beach in Beverly. It was suppose rain but it turned out to be a perfect day. I went for a swim in the ocean before everyone got there. Then we had a bunch of friends and family show up for 1pm for the big reveal. Ashley came down from Vermont with some cute little party favours, Jess had a box full of confetti and balloons hanging from a tree with one of Rebel’s favourite balls dangling from the bottom. We counted down and let Rebel off his leash and he new what to do. I took him a coupe times because he was so excited he was bouncing the ball all over the place. Jess steadied the ball again and Rebel grabbed it and pulled, popping the bottom off the box, PINK confetti and balloons came flying out! It’s a GIRL!!! I would be happy with either but I was so surprised and happy to find out I’m having a baby girl!

August 27, 2024- Present Day

As most of you know, I had a little boy! The gender reveal company says there is a one percent error rate and I guess I managed to fall into that one percent. After Laken was born I wrote to the company and they gave me a full refund. I still don't know what happened but my guess would be a clerical error. It's funny because when I first became pregnant, I was sure I was having a boy so when the reveal said girl I was truly surprised! I'll tell more about Laken's big reveal in his birth story. It's a good one!
