First Ultrasound

I’m 7 weeks pregnant today! I had my very first ultrasound at the fertility clinic. Everything looks great. NOT TWINS! Baby is measuring a little bigger at 7weeks and 2 days. Heart rate is 134bpm. The ultrasound picture isn’t much. Baby looks like a little grain of rice. The other nice part is that Jenni aka Auntie Gampi, was there so she came in to the ultrasound with me. She held my hand and made me laugh. It was really nice to have her there.

Mum came in to speak to the doctor with me after the ultrasound, everything looks great she says the due date is more like December 24th judging by the measurements. She also said I have graduated from the fertility clinic and I can now just make an appointment with my local OBGYN.

After the ultrasound we went out to lunch with mum, dad, Jenni and Rhiannon at a little Italian place. Then we shopped around at a few of the little local shops. It was a very nice afternoon until I got home and threw up the pizza I had for lunch! I blame my dad’s driving just as much as being pregnant!
